Wednesday 16th May, WHCS with Bruno Loubet. After 9 years in the UK celebrated chef Bruno Loubet is back in Queensland and searching for a location to open a cookery school. But first, he joins Harvest for a one-off Wild Harvest dinner exploring and showcasing Australia’s native ingredients. Head chef Alastair Waddell and forager Peter Hardwick are looking forward to commemorating his return in Byron Bay’s humble village of Newrybar. French chef Bruno Loubet had a successful career in London during the ’90s before moving to Queensland in 2002. He is famed for his critically acclaimed restaurants – Bruno’s Tables in Toowong, Berardo’s in Noosa and Baguette in Brisbane (2002-2008) and more recently in London for Bistrot Bruno Loubet and vegetable focussed Grain Store (2008-2017).
