Duncan Welgemoed from award-winning Africola restaurant (named South Australia’s best restaurant in the prestigious Australian Financial Review Top Restaurants Awards 2018) will be joining head chef Alastair Waddell and forager Peter Hardwick for a one-off Wild Harvest with a menu exploring Australia’s under-utilised ingredients. The contemporary African eatery with a Western soundtrack sees Duncan smoke and baste seasonal food in their own juices. He cooks with produce from local SA farmers and growers – with all animals bred and raised exclusively for his restaurant.
